Updating CSOD Editable Pages

Description:  Making changes to CSOD Custom or Welcome pages.

1.        To make changes to the Custom pages, go to Admin > Preferences

 

2.       Click on Manage Custom Pages.



3.       Click the Edit icon button next to the page you want to edit.

4.       Click the Gear icon button in right-corner of the text box to make changes.



5.       Make the changes in the Widget Settings box and click Save when complete.



6.       Then, click Save and Exit to complete the changes to the Custom Page.



7.       To make changes to the Welcome page, click Welcome Page Preferences (by Category).



8.       Click the MSRB text (not the + icon, the text.)



9.       Click the Edit icon  to begin making your changes.



10.   Click the Gear icon to make changes to the area you would like to edit.



11.   Make the required changes and click Save.



12.   Click Save and Exit to complete the changes to the Custom Page.




13.   Check the “Overwrite custom settings previously saved for child Categories…” box and click Save.



14.   To make changes to the Welcome page for anonymous browserers, select Admin > Org Units.




15.   Select Manage Self Registration Groups.




16.   Click the Edit icon to make changes to the Anonymous Browser group.



17.   Select Guest User Settings.



18.   Click on the Welcome Page Configuration heading bar.




19.   Make the required changes to the widgets you would like to edit by clicking on the Gear icon.



20.   Click OK when complete.



21.   Click Submit.






 

Adding Email Alerts

Description:  Process to create system email/mail-all.

1.        Go to Admin > Marketing



 

2.       Select Create New Email or simply copy an existing one.



3.       Create your email message, subject and reply address in the window.



4.       Finally, set your send date, and click Save.


 

Updating Evaluation Questions

Description:  Process to editing Evaluations.

1.       Go to Admin > Catalog




2.       Click on Evaluations.



3.       Click the Edit icon for the evaluation you would like to edit.



4.       Make the required changes to the evaluation and click Submit.  You cannot change the questions to an existing evaluation.




5.       To make broader changes, click Create a New Evaluation or Copy an existing one.

6.       Select copy and make the required changes and click Save.




7.       To add a new question, click the + icon.


8.       To delete a question, click the trash can next to the question.



9.       To change the order of how the questions appear, change the order number accordingly.



10.   Click Submit when complete.



11.   To create new questions, click on the Question Bank link.



12.   Click Create New Question.




13.   Create your new question and click Submit when complete.





 

 

Email Trigger Configuration

Description:  Change the email settings.

1.       Go to Admin > Email.




2.       Search for the email Action or trigger you would like to add or change.




3.       Expand the email action topic to see the various emails assigned to that action.  Click Edit to make changes.



4.       Make your changes and click Save.




5.       To add new email triggers, search for the Action and click the mail icon .

6.       As with Step 4 above, make your changes and click Save.


 

Setting Security Permissions

Description:  Process to editing security permissions.

1.       Go to Admin > Security.



2.       All security settings can be modified and created from this screen.  It is advised to consult with CSOD Global Product Support before proceeding to make any modifications.




3.       System Administrator permissions can be seen by clicking on the + sign.
