To understand which firms or organizations a user belongs to, both the “Organization Name” and “Organization1” column contain the user’s input.
a. Organization1 – is a selection field where a user chooses their OU data (Organization Unit) from a list of predefined firms.
b. Organization Name – is a required open text field where a user will enter information if they cannot find their firm in the list. If they do find their firm name listed, they are instructed to enter “N/A.”
c. Organization – This field hidden from user’s and was created for System Admins to curate or clean this information. It will only contain information if System Admins add data.
You will want to compare and combine the two input fields (“Organization1” and
“Organization Name”) to get the best representation of information.
