Organization Report

To understand which firms or organizations a user belongs to, both the “Organization Name” and “Organization1” column contain the user’s input.

a.       Organization1 – is a selection field where a user chooses their OU data (Organization Unit) from a list of predefined firms.

b.       Organization Name – is a required open text field where a user will enter information if they cannot find their firm in the list.  If they do find their firm name listed, they are instructed to enter “N/A.”

c.       Organization – This field hidden from user’s and was created for System Admins to curate or clean this information.  It will only contain information if System Admins add data.

You will want to compare and combine the two input fields (“Organization1” and “Organization Name”) to get the best representation of information.

3.       While the reports listed above will provide most of the data required, it is possible that additional information or a new report format is desired.  To make any changes to the above reports, select Copy and make the required changes.  Note:  You can only Edit reports that you created yourself.

4.       Select the type of report you want to create.  This serves to direct the scope of the data pulled.  For example, an Account or Organization report is a “User Report” type and therefore uses account information as the foundation of the pull.

5.       To add a new field to a report, search for the desired field.  Double click the appropriate result to add the field to the report or simply drag and drop the field to the report.

When adding fields to a report, be sure that you are getting the correct data since many fields are similarly named.  Some trial and error is often required to ensure the data you are collecting is in fact the information you want.

6.       You may apply any filters to further focus the data pull, by entering the field or OU constraints below.  In general, you may want avoid using filters at first, since these can easily be replicated in Excel and will best ensure you have clean data pull to start with.
